The Review

Linx Hypnos Zero Review -Best Portable Concentrate Vaporizers -Found, Tested and Reviewed Although my main focus on this site has mainly been dry herb vaporizers, I’ve recently been introduced to a couple of really great concentrate vaporizers that I feel deserve a place on these pages too.

As mentioned in the intro, the new Linx Hypnos Zero is the best concentrate vape pen I have used thus far.

It features everything I want in a concentrate vaporizer! It’s tiny, sleek and very well performing with all my hashes, gums, waxes, shatter, etc.

The Linx Hypnos features a fully ceramic heating chamber which heats up almost instantly and produces clouds of very smooth, sweet tasting and highly potent vapor.

When I first received it I was really impressed with both the size and the build quality. Although I had read the dimensions online, I wasn’t expecting something so sleek and tiny in the hand!

The solidity of the brushed stainless steel and the precision with which it was built and assembled make it really quite impressive in look and feel.

Linx Hypnos Zero Review -Best Portable Concentrate Vaporizers -Found, Tested and Reviewed The ceramic heating chamber sits right under the glass vapor path and holds about 0.1/gram of material. I usually find that half that amount is sufficient for a good 20-30 minutes of highly enjoyable relief.

As small as it is, only 4 inches by 1/2 inch in diameter and weighing just 45 grams, it fits in any pocket unnoticeably and is ready to go with just five clicks of the firing button.

The Linx Hypnos Zero features 4 preset temperature settings. I find the lowest 2 give lots of great flavor with little visible vapor and a more cerebral buzz, while the higher two settings produce more visible clouds and more of the body buzz type of relaxing high.

The airflow is more than adequate but I do find that in order to keep it functioning optimally, it needs to be cleaned every few sessions. The nice thing about the Linx Hypnos Zero is how easy cleaning actually is. A Q-Tip with some rubbing alcohol is enough to get the chamber spotless in seconds.

Linx Hypnos Zero Review -Best Portable Concentrate Vaporizers -Found, Tested and Reviewed The battery is rated at 650 mAh (milliampere hours) which easily lasts me a full day, but it’s hard to quantify in terms of actual vaping time.

As a rough estimate, I would say it’s probably about an hour or so of actual use per charge. I can hit it usually between about 20-30 times on a full charge.

The charging cable is similar to the ego style of electronic cigarette chargers so it can’t be used while charging although since it is removable, if you buy a spare you’ll be able to keep vaping non-stop. Charging the battery usually takes about an hour and a half.

For myself, I love having it with me for times when I want a little bit more medication than I get on a bowl of dry herb. Although in the past I would just add some hash or shatter to the middle of a bowl and vape it that way, I find the results much better with a concentrate-specific device like this one.

In fact, since I got the Linx Hypnos Zero I find myself more and more frequently reaching straight for my heavier stuff just because of how much more potent a buzz I can get in a fifth the time.

They include the basics of what you’ll need in the box as seen in the image below. They even include an extra glass mouthpiece/vapor path just in case you break the one installed.

All in all it’s a fantastic little device that will please even the most experienced users, but is easy enough to use for the absolute beginner to get awesome results right away too.

The Verdict

The Linx Hypnos Zero is a super-well made, ultra-discreet, high performing concentrate vaporizer.

I’ve been using mine for about a month now and I haven’t skipped a day of using it yet!

Whether it be Jamaican gum, hash, wax, shatter, etc. it delivers great results each and every time within seconds of engaging the firing button.

I really enjoy the APX Wax too but as far as convenience and ease of use, the edge definitely goes to the Linx Zero.

The stainless steel encasement is not only attractive but also renders the device virtually indestructible which is a huge plus for me as I do tend to be a little rough with these devices in my daily use.

The ceramic chamber and glass vapor path allow the full flavor or my chosen material to come through perfectly and it always has me smiling with satisfaction within just a few seconds of loading it up.

For anyone who enjoys extracts and is looking for the purest, most economical and most potent way to ingest them, this is a great option to consider.
